Bad news for two and four legged outdoor enthusiasts. As of 3/15/2010 the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest Service office will not even review the application for permit for the Dog Valley Half Marathon.
I hope to still work with them to address their concerns and reasons to disallow this public gathering on public land.
I will post updates as they happen, but it looks like the DVHM will not happen this year.
